Bonsai Mushrooms Return & Refund Policy
At Bonsai Mushrooms, our goal is simple: we want you to experience the magic of growing your own mushrooms. We are committed to your success and will do everything within reason to ensure you are happy with your purchase.
If your experience isn’t what you expected, please reach out to us so we can make it right.
1. Our 45-Day Happiness Guarantee
We offer a 45-day return and exchange window from the date of delivery. Whether your pod didn't fruit as expected or you simply changed your mind before starting, we are here to help.
2. Eligibility for Returns
Unopened Pods: If you changed your mind, you can return unopened and unused mushroom pods within 45 days for a full refund (minus shipping costs).
Performance Issues: If you followed the instructions and your pod failed to grow, please contact our support team. We often provide a replacement pod free of charge because we want you to see results!
Damaged Goods: If your pod arrives damaged or contaminated, please take a photo and contact us immediately so we can send a fresh replacement.
3. How to Start a Return
To start a return or report an issue with your growth kit, please email us at hello@bonsaimushrooms.com with:
-Your Order Number.
-A brief description of the issue.
-Photos (if the pod is damaged or failing to fruit).
4. Refunds
Once we receive your return (or approve your refund request via photo evidence), we will process your refund to your original payment method. Please note that it may take 5-10 business days for your bank or credit card company to post the refund to your account.
5. Shipping Costs
-If the return is due to a mistake on our part or a defective product, Bonsai Mushrooms will cover the return shipping.
-For "change of mind" returns, the customer is responsible for paying the return shipping costs.
6. Our "Within Reason" Clause
While we strive for 100% satisfaction, we may not offer refunds for pods that were neglected, stored improperly for long periods, or harvested successfully multiple times. We ask that you reach out to us as soon as you notice a problem so we can help you troubleshoot in real-time!
